Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 11, 2011 - GNSS chipset design company, SkyTraq Technology, Inc., announces to debut three GLONASS/GPS dead reckoning navigation modules, S2525DR, S2532DR and S2532G2DR. The output format of all three DR modules is fully compatible with GPS NMEA-0813 and the customers can use them directly without any need of modification of the existing navigation engine or map matching.

S2525DR dimension is compatible with the existing commonly used 25mm X 25mm SMD type GPS receiver modules. The customer can easily upgrade current GPS navigation product design to dead reckoning navigation product design just by replacing original 25mm X 25mm GPS receiver module by S2525DR modules with the connection of odometer line and directional line.

S2532DR dimension is 25mm X 32mm. It comes with 12-pin header for easy installation and use.

S2532G2DR is a GLONASS/GPS dual mode DR navigation receiver module. It can accelerate the cold start TTFF and improve the position accuracy under very weak GNSS signal condition. Its size is 25mm X 32mm.

All three DR navigation modules adopt SkyTraq's proprietary dead reckoning algorithm and high sensitivity GNSS positioning algorithm, together with build-in fast self dead reckoning calibration and temperature compensation. No matter it is under the weak GPS signal conditions, like underpass or urban canyon, or under completely lost GPS signal conditions, like tunnels or basement parking lot, it can continue to provide the accurate navigation at all time.

All three DR navigation modules will be in mass production from October 2011. Engineering samples, datasheets and application notes will be available upon customer's request.
